The Pommie walkers continue through the winter weekends, and now we were done with the harbour and off up the coast. From Manly, you can pretty much walk north for about 16 hours all the way up to Palm Beach. It’s very pleasant walking mostly along beaches.
How easy the beach bits are depends on the tide, as there are several lagoons to cross along the way. We managed to get wet feet by a badly timed run when we thought the tide was not coming in quite as fast as it was. (did you enjoy that exciting little story? :-))
