Spit Bridge to Manly walk

Winter sunshine now in abundance, we embarked on a series of weekend walks. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is pretty much the second most famous walk in Sydney after the Bondi – Coogee walk.

It’s a nice walk, but there are certainly better. It seems to this Pommie that these particular walks are only famous because they start where all the tourists hang out. I suspect that Sydneysiders deliberately promote these walks to keep the tourists off the nicer ones – yeah – don’t deny it people of Sydney – I know your game.

The walk goes around the north-east edge of the harbour:
