Being a Pommie, I was under the impression that I would just pay my rent with a bank transfer to the landlord every month. OH NO – that’s not allowed. Here I must use a bizarre special scheme and pay my rent every 2 weeks. WHY? I hear you ask?
REASON GIVEN: ‘If there was a direct transfer, we wouldn’t be able to keep track of who paid us’ – YEAH RIGHT – YOU LOSERS – More useless systems and money wasted. So I had to sign up for a ReConnectOne card, costing me $40 every year for some stupid card and a system where I pay a 3rd party and they pass my rent onto the Landlord – SO SO LAME.
